Compared with traditional copper electrode, isostatic graphite materials for EDM application have the folling advantages

Production Speed	The price of isostatic graphite is about 25% compared with the same volume copper electrode's
Machining accuracy	The machining speed is 3-5 times faster than copper electrode's, the machined surface is smooth.  Electric discharge pcocessing speed is 1/3-2times faster than the copper electrode's, it is better for Rough Machining
Weight	The density of graphite is only 1/5 of copper's, it is more suitable in the production for larger electrodes
Loss	Used as EDM electrode, which cosumption is only 1/3-1/5 of copper electrode's, the coating of spark decomposition of carbide compensates electrode loss
High temperature resistance	The melting point of graphite is up to 3650ºC, no deformation under high temperature and more suitable for machining bone electrode
Electrode Cohesiveness	Stick damaged graphite to save time and reduce material costs
